Biography

Laura Akers is the author of the mystery-action Davia Glenn series: Dior or Die, Killing With Kindness, Posh and Perilous, and Lavish and Lethal. At age twenty-four, Laura became a prosecuting attorney and handled rape, domestic violence, gang, and high-profile homicide cases. She’s an award-winning public speaker who presents workshops on jury selection and self-confidence. For four years, she’s been a co-moderator of the Thriller Crime Mystery Space on the Clubhouse app, teaching mystery and thriller writing craft, and has taught classes for San Diego Writer’s Ink.
