Biography

Andrew Kass is the author of A WOMAN OF AGENCY (Holand Press 2026), with a second historical fiction in process. His short work has appeared in Glimmer Train, The New York Times, and elsewhere, earning Honorable Mentions in the 90th and 94th Writer's Digest Short Story Competitions, the 2024 Black Orchid Novella Award and the 2025 CRAFT First Chapters Contest. He grew up on a dirt road in a swamp full of stories in New York City and is still a resident of Staten Island, New York, where he plays original guitar tunes at local venues.
