Lynda McDaniel loves writing page-turners—both fiction and non-fiction. She got her start as a writer in the most unlikely place—a town of 200 people in the mountains of North Carolina. Living there changed her life in so many positive ways. Decades later, she realized that everything she values today, she was introduced to there. Her Appalachian Mountain Mysteries series pays homage to the people of Appalachia who taught her so much. Over her career, she’s written more than 1,200 articles for major magazines, hundreds of newsletters, and blogs. She’s proudest of the 21 books she’s written. Her nonfiction books include the Write Faster Series. She wrote the first in the series, "Words at Work," straight from her heart in response to all the questions and concerns people have about writing today. (It won top honors from the National Best Books Awards.)
