Biography

Born in Sweden, I grew up immersed in stories, tracing a path from Astrid Lindgren and Nancy Drew to Agatha Christie and the dark, intricate worlds of modern Nordic Noir. With more than 600-700 Swedish crime novels under my belt and a lifetime spent analyzing whodunits, writing my own thriller was the natural next step. My debut novel, Sinister Peak, is the culmination of that lifelong passion. After years on my bucket list, and with my dad cheering me on as one of my biggest supporters, I am thrilled to finally see my debut novel in print. My journey took a major turn at age twenty when I moved to the U.S. to swim collegiately. I eventually settled in Minnesota in 1998, where I now work as the Associate Program Director and coach for Blackline Aquatics. My discipline as a swim coach is mirrored in my personal athletic pursuits, which include completing twenty-five marathons, finishing an Ironman, and navigating the wilderness through orienteering.
