Olivia Yates has always had a love affair with writing. During her career as an editor, professional journalist and nonfiction author, she once had the pleasure of interviewing British ‘Queen of Crime’ P.D. James for a magazine article. The stimulating personal conversation with a literary giant who used the mystery genre to bring a form of order to a chaotic universe was an ‘aha!’ moment for Olivia that finally bubbled to the surface many years later. These days Olivia is having fun writing fiction, creating quirky characters and devious plots for her lighthearted cozy mystery series set in the fictional town of Dingle Point Cove on the sparkling blue waters of the Chesapeake Bay.
