Biography

Liisa’s mysteries have been called a cross between Agatha Christie and Francine Rivers. The sequel, Fortunes of Death, continues with Sabina, our amateur sleuth, returning to unmask killers while navigating the dangers of her banned religion, sorcery, paranoid emperors, and the ever-present threat of betrayal from family and friends. Liisa’s travels to Turkey, Greece, and Italy have enriched her stories with vivid depictions of ancient Roman and Greek culture, history, and people. Over the years, she’s been a teacher, small business owner, librarian, and lifelong learner. She resides in northern Wisconsin with her husband, two dogs, two kayaks, and long winters conducive to writing mystery, murder, and mayhem.
