Ann Wakeland is a native-born Oklahoman and an Oklahoma University graduate who spent most of her career in software development. Now retired, A Stained and Brutal Ground is her first novel, and first book in the Sheriff Arthur John Ford mystery series. She still resides in Oklahoma.
