Biography

I am a member of the SinC Midsouth chapter and the Mid-south chapter of the Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators (SCBWI) and live in Nashville, TN with my wife and we have 2 grown children. After working as a procurement professional for over 30 years, I retired and began a career as a professional genealogist in 2018. I first started writing stories in the early 2000s and had an article published in a genealogical quarterly magazine in 2004. My award-winning debut novel, "A Walk in the Dark", was published in late April, 2025. The 2nd book in the series, "Glimmers of Light", is scheduled to launch September 13, 2026; I am also working on a series of children’s chapter books with a focus on STEMM; a picture book entitled, "The Christmas Bauble"; and a new sci-fi romance thriller set in 2058 entitled, "Critical Mass".
