Biography
D.S. Mori (Darryl Mori) was the 2025 winner of The William F. Deeck-Malice Domestic Grant for Unpublished Writers, awarded for his in-progress novel, What He Saw in the Darkness. He also was a 2025 Fellow at the Martha's Vineyard Institute of Creative Writing. He has been a longtime non-fiction contributor to DiscoverNikkei.org, a website about people of Japanese descent around the globe. A former higher education administrator, he is fond of stories of dark academia.
