Biography

After beginning my career in music and theater arts, mostly in Asia, I spent twenty-five years in manufacturing and product development, including a decade in China, running a small company. My years of performing and business experience with people of many nationalities filled my head with stories. I developed my manuscript over three years in Authors Lab, a competitive, admission-based intensive program at the Charlotte Center for Literary Arts in Charlotte. I gained craft knowledge and received extensive feedback, including two complete developmental edits by traditionally published authors.
