Biography
Hunter Burke earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Performing Arts from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. His acting credits include roles in the Academy Award winning film THE BIG SHORT, the hit Netflix show SWEET MAGNOLIAS, and the Amazon original series BOSCH. A Quarterfinalist for the 2021 Academy Nicholl Fellowship, Burke’s feature screenwriting debut, LOST BAYOU, world premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival in 2019. BLOOD VERMILION: THE UNTOLD STORY OF THE CAJUN CANNIBAL is his first novel.
