Biography
Born in a family of police officers, mysteries and crime have always been a passion, but poetry is a strong second, and in the real world, poetry has been the victor. K.B. Kincer was awarded both an MFA and a PhD in creative writing from Georgia State University. Her Chapbook, After the Transplant, was a finalist for Georgia Author of the Year in the Chapbook category. Besides teaching, she directs and co-hosts melodically challenged, a nationally syndicated weekly radio show devoted to poetry and alternative music that airs on WRAS, Georgia State University’s all-student run radio station, and on college radio stations and Public Radio stations throughout the country.
