Biography

Joanne McLaughlin writes sharp mysteries, spicy vampire novels, and sweeter short fiction. She is the author of the cozy mystery "A Poetic Puzzle," the crime thriller "Chasing Ashes," the Vampires of the Court of Cruelty trilogy (“Never Before Noon,” “Never Until Now,” and “Never More Human”), and the short stories “Peppina’s Sweetheart” and “Grass and Granite” (available as eBooks on Amazon). Her story "The Strangeness of the Story" appears in "Behind the Revolving Door, Volume 1." "Way, Way Out of the Building" appears in "Ruth and Ann's Guide to Time Travel, Volume 1". Joanne is a longtime editor of prize-winning news and features for newspapers and public media. She lives in southeastern Pennsylvania, where she indulges her love for home design and walks in a local arboretum. She is a member of the Delaware Valley Chapter of Sisters in Crime and the Greater Lehigh Valley Writers Group.
