Biography

Carol L Paur is the author of three children’s books, a YA mystery – Early Summer (Orange Blossom Publishing, 2022), a middle-grade mystery – Rowley Peters and the Lumberjack Ghost (Chicken Scratch Books, 2025), and a middle-grade fantasy – Isasnora Snores (Black Rose Writing, 2019). She graduated with an MA in Communication from Marquette University and freelanced for magazines and newspapers. Paur wrote and produced children’s plays for the City of Delavan’s summer stock program and the Elkhorn, Wisconsin’s 4 H club. She’s a member of SCBWI, Sisters in Crime, Wisconsin Writers Association and Chicago Writers Association.
