Susan has conducted Power Point presentations in-person and online. She has taught courses and workshops on writing craft at the Alexandra Writers' Centre Society and participated in literary readings and numerous panels, notably at Calgary's annual When Words Collide Festival for Readers and Writers and Bouchercon World Mystery Convention.
Susan Calder is a Calgary writer who grew up in Montreal. She is the author of one standalone suspense novel, one historical mystery novel, and four Paula Savard Mystery Novels set in contemporary Calgary, Alberta (BWL Publishing Inc). Susan's short stories have won contests and appeared in numerous anthologies. She is a member of Crime Writers of Canada, the Writers' Guild of Alberta, and Sisters in Crime. When she's not writing, she loves travel, biking, and hiking in the beautiful mountains near Calgary.
