I have over 25-years of experience in C-level and Board level leadership positions at technology and financial services companies. I also co-founded MOCA Systems, Inc., a software and services company servicing the AEC industry, and Doolli, Inc., a novel code-less applications development platform. I have been a writer of poetry and short stories since the age of ten, and I have dreamed of writing fiction and science fiction novels all of my life. As I began my career in financial services, I converted my writing style to write professionally for company and industry, and equity markets reporting. I still do some professional writing on the subjects of technology, artificial intelligence and machine learning, social media, and legislation. I have also been an expert reader for writers on technology matters. In the past two years I have made a concerted effort to focus my attention on my original dream, to write fiction, in my case Crime Fiction, which leverages my extensive background in the financial services and technology industry. I have completed my first novel, a 75,000 word Crime Fiction novel with protagonist, Kate Lane, an intrepid private investigator knowledgable in all manner of money related crimes, fraud and cover-ups. I am a graduate the University of Virginia (UVA) with a Bachelor of Science. I also attended George Washington University where I studied liberal arts before transferring to UVA. I am a member of Woman Owned Greenwich, E2.org, and the MIT Entrepreneur Forum, and of course, Sisters in Crime and the Guppy chapter. I love the outdoors and am an environmental and wildlife advocate. I'm also a science and technology nerd.
