Biography
Cynthia writes stories about slightly messy women finding their voices and owning their desires. She’s the author of seven nonfiction books on sexuality and relationships, including What Men Really Want in Bed (Quiver) and its sequel What Women Really Want in Bed (Quiver). Her work has been translated into French, Spanish, German, Italian, and Brazilian Portuguese. She’s been interviewed by magazines like Glamour and Cosmopolitan for articles on sex and relationships. Cynthia has a B.A. in English from Stanford University and a master’s degree in journalism from the University of California at Berkeley. She enjoys reading, movies, good food, and running (so she can keep eating good food). She writes about writing, parenting as an empty nester, and movies in her Substack newsletter, The Mind Reels.
