Biography
GP Gottlieb studied music (Indiana University and New England Conservatory) and spent the first part of her life performing, teaching, composing, and administrating. She also raised three kids, and on the side, wrote stories, songs, and several unwieldy manuscripts. After recovering from breast cancer in 2015, she turned to writing in earnest, melding her two passions: nourishment for mind and body and recipe-laced murder mysteries. In 2018, Gottlieb began hosting New Books in Literature, a podcast channel on the New Books Network, and has interviewed over 275 authors so far. Her essays on travel, music, culture, writing, and things that annoy her are readable in Medium.Com (@gpgottlieb) and other publications.
