I teach mystery writing craft, and enjoy giving workshops for children through adults. I enjoy helping people become sleuths of their own stories by troubleshooting problem areas that mystery writers frequently encounter, and I guide mystery writers through the process of planning new drafts and major revisions.
Diana Renn is the author of two middle grade eco-mysteries published by Fitzroy Books/Regal House: Trouble at Turtle Pond (2022) and The Owl Prowl Mystery (2024). Trouble at Turtle Pond was named a 2023 Green Earth Book Award Honor Book and a 2023 Massachusetts Book Awards "Must Read." Her three YA mysteries, Tokyo Heist, Latitude Zero, and Blue Voyage, all published by Viking/Penguin Random House, feature international intrigue and globetrotting teens. Diana is also a co-author of False Idols, an episodically-released mystery for adults, published in digital and audio format by Realm (formerly Serial Box) and in paperback by Adaptive Books. She has authored and edited numerous textbooks, taught writing at Boston University, Brandeis University, and Grub Street, and is an Author Accelerator Certified Book Coach and a freelance editor specializing in mystery.
