The prolific author of the Rose Creek and Rock Shop mystery series, and half a dozen write-for-hire novels, she also continues writing short fiction. Twelve of her stories appear in Alfred Hitchcock’s Mystery Magazine. Catherine co-authors the Ninja Grandparent Placement Mysteries with her daughter, Merida Bass. Book One, Grandpa's New Year's Relocation, won the humor category for the Colorado Authors League 2026 awards. Their co-authored YA science fiction series, The Tapestry Tales, is their first foray into audiobooks.
