I often speaking about freeing the creative mind to think concretely for vivid descriptions, book promotion on a budget and the various roads to publication. I have a historical novel releasing in March of 2026 and would be happy to talk about research for novels and/or the Adirondack Mountains in the 1920s. I enjoy helping aspiring writers, especially since so many authors were so generous to me along the way.

Biography

Lori Duffy Foster is a former crime reporter and the award-nominated author of SPRING MELT, a novel of historical suspense, releasing March 10, 2026, along with NEVER LET GO, a thriller, and the Lisa Jamison Mystery Series. Her novels have been finalists or nominees for Agatha Award, Shamus and Silver Falchion awards. Lori is a member of Mystery Writers of America, Sisters in Crime, The Historical Novel Society, International Thriller Writers and Pennwriters.
