Biography
Patricia Skalka is the award-winning author of the Dave Cubiak Door County mystery series. USA Today picked her first book, “Death Stalks Door County,” to represent Wisconsin in a special pandemic article”50 States/50 Books to Read.” Traditionally published, Skalka won both the Midwest Book Award for Best Thriller/Mystery and the Edna Ferber Fiction Book Award. Before turning to mysteries, she wrote for Reader’s Digest and other national magazines.
