Kathryn O’Sullivan is an award-winning writer and filmmaker. Her science fiction thriller, WHEN EARTH SHALL BE NO MORE, was co-written with her husband, Paul Awad, won the 2023 IPPY Bronze Medal Award in Science Fiction, and is the first in a trilogy. Kathryn is also a Malice Domestic Best First Traditional Mystery Novel winner and author of the Colleen McCabe mystery series. Her short stories and plays have been published in several anthologies. Recent films include the award-winning documentary, BICENTENNIAL BONSAI: EMISSARIES OF PEACE, and the feature crime drama, A SAVAGE NATURE. Kathryn is professor emerita of theatre at Northern Virginia Community College. She lives in Reston, Virginia with her husband and their rescue cats, Maggie and Andy.
