Claire A Murray writes full-time, dabbles in painting, and lives on a steady diet of Zoominars and write-ins for connection, inspiration, and sanity. She writes reviews for Kings River Life Magazine, belongs to the Short Mystery Fiction Society, Mystery Writers of America, four SinC chapters, and is president of Sisters in Crime Desert Sleuths Chapter and a lifetime National member. Lead Editor for Desert Sleuths 2025's SoWest: Danger Awaits! and 2023's SoWest: Wrong Turn anthologies she also has a collection of short stories, Play the Hand You’re Dealt. In competitions, she has earned first place, Honorable Mention, and third place (twice). Claire is completing a suspense fantasy novel and the first book of a trilogy while an amateur sleuth novel awaits final edits.
