Craft
A former high school and college instructor, as well as a theatrical actor, Steve offers workshops on writing fiction. Topics include plot, character, point of view, dialogue, and preparing for NaNo.
A former English teacher, theatrical actor/director/designer, and musician, Steve has won the Black Orchid Novella Award twice and Honorable Mention for the Al Blanchard Story Award four times. He has been a finalist for both the Edgar and the Shamus Awards, and his short stories appear in Alfred Hitchcock's Mystery Magazine, Tough, Black Cat Mystery Magazine, Switchblade, Mystery Magazine, and several anthologies. Prior to the Covid pandemic, he conducted fiction writing workshops throughout central Connecticut.
